Who has one? Which one is best? What do you spend your points on?...
And You Can Become The Next Millionaire…
I have the Amex Rewards Credit Card (UK) right now, had quite a few different ones over the years though.
How about yourself?
I mostly save my points to be honest, I like having lots of points. I have only spent some once and that was to upgrade a flight.
How does this card differ to the gold or platinum @Matt ?
So the Amex Rewards Credit Card still gives you points the exact same as the Gold and Platinum card. It also still has access to Amex Offers which have some really good offers you can "save" to your card. The card has no annual fee.
The main difference is the annual fee and added benefits.
Gold card has a £140 annual fee (this is waived in year 1 always is, or at least this promo has been around for at least 4 years). This gives you perks but the main one is the airport lounge pass, but I don't think this is worth £140 in my opinion. It only gives you 2 passes per year which are only really worth about £20 each.
Platinum card has an annual fee of I think its £450, the Platinum card gives you elite status at hotel chains, unlimited airport lounges. Putting a value on this to be fair is hard and if you travel a lot I think this can be worth it, I had this for the business for a while but switched to the Santander Business Cashback Credit Card.
There used to be one other large difference and that was that the Amex Rewards Credit Card was a credit card and the Gold and Platinum cards were "Charge cards" not credit cards but this is no longer the case as this pretty recently changed.
How easy/what was the process of moving from gold or platinum to the Rewards card?
Super easy, just call Amex and they pretty much walk you through it.
Ok great, and all points are transferred etc?
I'm just on the Gold Charge too so the above is great @Matt
