When atraderdecides totradein theforexmarket, he or she must first open a margin account with aforexbroker. Usually, the amount ofleverageprovided is either 50:1, 100:1 or 200:1, depending on the broker and the size of the position that the investor istrading. Trade12 is just offering me more than 1:400 even in micro accounts and I can easily extend my trading lot size indeed.

I use Forexchief broker that offers 1:400 leverage. Even on stock trading I am still able to use 1:400 leverage. Recently I reduced my leverage to 1:100 to minimize risk.

Leverage is not related to risk.
You're mistaking risk management with leverage rates. They are not related and managing your risk has nothing to do with your leverage.
You can easily lose the same amounts both with x10 and x300 leverage.

I would say they are kind of related, because if you are not careful you might lose as much leverage you used. And anything in this light is risk management.

It is only risky when you increase the volume of your trade. The higher the leverage, the more you can buy/sell. I use Forexchief too and I do use up to 1:400 sometimes, but I apply proper risk management to avoid too much loss when the market moves against me.

You are correct. Leverage only increases your purchasing power.

Leverage is very important for retail traders. It increases our buying power. We can trade with inconsequential capital with the help of leverage. The lead is whether you take high leverage by then reducing the hazard % proportionately. In any case, I figure trader should focus on quality trading. Also, for that perceiving and contorted is basic. For my trading I utilize XeroMarkets broker since I like their useful resources like eBook and video instructional activities. I utilize 1:300 leverage in any case they give from 1:1 upto 1:500 leverage.
