When atraderdecides totradein theforexmarket, he or she must first open a margin account with aforexbroker. Usually, the amount ofleverageprovided is either 50:1, 100:1 or 200:1, depending on the broker and the size of the position that the investor istrading. Trade12 is just offering me more than 1:400 even in micro accounts and I can easily extend my trading lot size indeed.

I use Forexchief broker that offers 1:400 leverage. Even on stock trading I am still able to use 1:400 leverage. Recently I reduced my leverage to 1:100 to minimize risk.

Leverage is not related to risk.
You're mistaking risk management with leverage rates. They are not related and managing your risk has nothing to do with your leverage.
You can easily lose the same amounts both with x10 and x300 leverage.

I would say they are kind of related, because if you are not careful you might lose as much leverage you used. And anything in this light is risk management.
